John Stebbins
CEO
As CEO of PROCON, John Stebbins is the fourth generation to lead the family business in its 90-year existence. He is a graduate of Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Arts in Theology and Government and a Master of Architecture from Virginia Tech. Since taking leadership of PROCON, he has built lasting relationships with development partners throughout the Northeast. John currently serves on the boards of Associated General Contractors and The Greater Manchester Boys and Girls Clubs, whose mission is to reach out to all youth, especially those who need us most, inspiring them to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring individuals.
What gets you out of bed in the morning?
“Usually my kids, but sometimes my alarm clock! What gets me going, though, is the chance to work with our amazing team and partners on some really interesting projects.”
What do you enjoy most about what you do?
“I enjoy the challenges and collaborative solution seeking. It’s so much fun to be part of such a dynamic and solutions oriented team..”
What do you enjoy doing for fun?
“For fun, I love boating with family and friends. The smell of fresh air, the ocean breeze, and the movement of the waves is incredibly relaxing. ”
Tell me about your family?
“My wife and I have been blessed with four young children. Life with them is controlled chaos, but so much fun. They bring us a lot of joy, and we are very proud of them.”
