After 35 years with PROCON, Senior Superintendent Bob Beauchemin has retired! From Arts Alley and Unitilโs corporate headquarters to countless hotels and long-standing work at Merrimack College, including his final project, an exciting new lecture hall, Bob has made a lasting impact on PROCONโs work throughout the years.
Bob is known for being a meticulous superintendent, with attention to detail and innovative problem-solving abilities second to none. He is known to create his own tools to complete difficult tasks in the field when nothing else worked. Throughout his career, Bob has also been a mentor to many up-and-coming PROCON team members, teaching them how to do things the right way and always with the right tools.
To celebrate his retirement, Bobโs team took him out to lunch at the Puritan Backroom where they shared stories and memories and celebrated whatโs next for him.
Whatever comes next, we are certain it will include camouflage and plenty of time enjoying the outdoors. Please join us in wishing Bob a very happy retirement and congratulations on an outstanding career!

Today, we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his vision for equality, service, and community. The spaces where we learn, work, and gather matter, and we reflect on how thoughtful design and construction can support access, opportunity, and stronger communities for all. PROCON remains committed to building spaces that bring people together while promoting equality and acceptance for all.

It is with immense gratitude that we share the recent retirement of PROCON Co-President, James Loft. After 29 years of dedicated service, Jim leaves a lasting legacy on our company and the many incredible projects he helped bring to life throughout his tenure. His impact can be seen in landmark developments such as Assembly Row, Tufts Universityโs Joyce Cummings Center, Tuscan Village, Portwalk Place, Arts Alley, and many, many more.
In addition to his many successful projects, Jim had an incredible impact on shaping the PROCON design and engineering team into what it is today. Many of the staff members he hired over the last 29 years remain on the PROCON team today and were present to speak at his retirement party. To Jim's surprise, his entire team stole the show at the party when they walked in as "Jim impersonators," all adorned with his signature white curly hair.
Whether Jim is surfing, playing guitar, or spending time with his family, we know this next chapter will serve him well. Thank you, Jim, for 29 years of outstanding service to PROCON, and we wish you all the best in your well-deserved retirement!

'Innovative' is a Core Value at PROCON and one of the ways we continue to innovate is by staying on top of new technologies and methods through AIA-accredited lunch and learns. During the holiday season, we take a break from these sessions, and we were very excited to have Dave Carroll from York Flashings back at PROCON today for a great course on air barrier transitions.

The PROCON holiday season would not be the same without the annual Ugly Sweater Contest during our Holiday Lunch. We had two identical sweaters for the Jonathans, teddy bear overalls, a custom-printed sweater (that was pretty cool, Al), and then just ugly, ugly, ugly! Thanks to everyone who participated.

With just one week left until Christmas, the holiday lights are shining bright at PROCON HQ every evening thanks to The New England Holiday Light Company. In addition to our annual staff โDeck the Hallsโ event each November, the New England Holiday Lights team stops by every year to decorate our iconic red archway for the holidays.
Fun fact: The co-founder of the company that lights up PROCON each season is Doran Dal Pra, a former PROCON IT team member and the son of PROCON legend Dan Dal Pra, who served as Executive Vice President and retired after 47 years with the company three years ago.

On Friday, the PROCON team gathered for a yummy pizza lunch from Nanaโs Kitchen & Pizzeria and to help spread holiday cheer across the office. In less than 60 minutes, the PROCON office was transformed - from beautifully decorated trees to bright lights hung far and wide - there was holiday cheer as far as the eye could see and lots of fun to be had. PROCON's "Deck the Halls" is an annual tradition we look forward to each year, bringing our employees together to celebrate the joy of the holiday season.
