Covering a full city block, Portwalk Place is an urban development in historic downtown Portsmouth that provides hotels, restaurants, an event center, office space, apartments, and two underground parking garages.
We are excited to share an update from our Merrimack College jobsite. Check out the time-lapse installation of the tiered stadium seating in one of the classrooms within the new Lecture Hall building. This new lecture hall will significantly expand Merrimack Collegeโs academic space and will feature 700 seats across five lecture halls in a 19,205 SF, two-story facility.

Over the last two years, this upgrade has enabled us to enhance our energy independence and create a positive environmental impact through reduced carbon emissions and a decreased reliance on fossil fuels.
On Friday, the PROCON team gathered for a yummy pizza lunch from Nanaโs Kitchen & Pizzeria and to help spread holiday cheer across the office. In less than 60 minutes, the PROCON office was transformed - from beautifully decorated trees to bright lights hung far and wide - there was holiday cheer as far as the eye could see and lots of fun to be had. PROCON's "Deck the Halls" is an annual tradition we look forward to each year, bringing our employees together to celebrate the joy of the holiday season.

Thank you to our incredible team members who donated, attended the week's events, and listened to inspiring presentations from our community partners. Together, our employees have helped to support the Mark Stebbins Community Center, The Leader in Me program, and other local organizations our employees are passionate about, with 95% of every dollar going to the nonprofit. From baby animals to crafts, face painting, balloons, and ice cream, there was something for everyone to enjoy. Every year, PROCON hosts a family-oriented eventโwhether itโs an open house like this year or another type of outing. This vibrant urban mixed-use development features a 13-story high-rise encompassing 22,000 square feet of retail space, a 160-room hotel, 122 condominiums, and below-grade parking just outside Boston. Assembly Row stands as PROCONโs largest project to date.

Over the past 20 years, this hotel has become a staple destination for travelers visiting New Hampshireโs Seacoast. In 2025, PROCON had the opportunity to return as the design-build partner to renovate the same hotel, transforming it with a modern, sleek, and updated aesthetic. We take pride in seeing our work evolve and continue to shape our communities.
Construction is progressing on the new dual-brand hotel at Thompsonโs Point in Portland, ME. The project, which includes a Residence Inn and a Moxy Hotel, represents PROCONโs first Moxy-branded propertyโa newer Marriott brand designed to appeal to a younger generation of travelersโand PROCONโs first ground-up hotel project in Portland, Maine. Scheduled to open in Spring 2026, the hotel is ideally situated near the Childrenโs Museum, the Theatre of Maine, and Bissell Brothers Brewery.

Moments like these remind us that PROCONโs strong culture didnโt happen overnight. Itโs been built over the years through teamwork, camaraderie, and shared experiencesโboth on the jobsite and beyondโwhere we take time to connect, reflect, and celebrate our collective success.
Weโre thrilled to share the finished photos of Foundation Armorโs new headquarters! Foundation Armor is a multi-generational, family-owned business and a leading manufacturer of industrial-grade concrete sealers and coatings. Their brand-new 25,000 SF headquarters in Amherst, NH was designed and built by the PROCON team. This project was especially unique as owners Tanya and Eric played a hands-on role in shaping the interior design and creating the welcoming feel of the new space. Congratulations, Foundation Armor, and a special thank you for allowing us to bring your vision to life!
