𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗖𝗢𝗡 𝗛𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 - 𝟵𝟬 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀: In 2019, PROCON was honored with the Associated Builders & Contractors Excellence Award for Design-Build in recognition of our work on Assembly Row in Somerville, MA. This vibrant urban mixed-use development features a 13-story high-rise encompassing 22,000 square feet of retail space, a 160-room hotel, 122 condominiums, and below-grade parking just outside Boston. Assembly Row stands as PROCON’s largest project to date.

𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗖𝗢𝗡 𝗛𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 - 𝟵𝟬 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀: In 2005, PROCON broke ground on the construction of the Hilton Garden Inn in downtown Portsmouth, NH. Over the past 20 years, this hotel has become a staple destination for travelers visiting New Hampshire’s Seacoast. In 2025, PROCON had the opportunity to return as the design-build partner to renovate the same hotel, transforming it with a modern, sleek, and updated aesthetic. We take pride in seeing our work evolve and continue to shape our communities.

Construction is progressing on the new dual-brand hotel at Thompson’s Point in Portland, ME. The project, which includes a Residence Inn and a Moxy Hotel, represents PROCON’s first Moxy-branded property—a newer Marriott brand designed to appeal to a younger generation of travelers—and PROCON’s first ground-up hotel project in Portland, Maine. Scheduled to open in Spring 2026, the hotel is ideally situated near the Children’s Museum, the Theatre of Maine, and Bissell Brothers Brewery.

At PROCON, we build lasting partnerships. When we first began conversations with Easterseals New Hampshire about their planned Military & Veterans Campus, we were excited to bring our expertise to the table and collaborate with a beloved nonprofit that we have been involved with philanthropically for over 60 years. Together, we brought their vision to life and we’re excited to continue building more, side by side. “They were able to really capture the mission at the end of our project – they were able to see the later on, today, and plan for that – so that was pretty remarkable,” says Maureen Beauregard, President & CEO at Easterseals NH/VT

𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗖𝗢𝗡 𝗛𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 – 𝟵𝟬 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀: One of the many ways we show appreciation for our Field Team is by hosting special events that bring everyone together to connect, unwind, and share memorable experiences. In 2016, we celebrated with “Field on the Field” at Gillette Stadium, where our team had the incredible opportunity to visit the home of the New England Patriots — tossing footballs on the field, exploring the locker room, and even meeting players and cheerleaders. Moments like these remind us that PROCON’s strong culture didn’t happen overnight. It’s been built over the years through teamwork, camaraderie, and shared experiences—both on the jobsite and beyond—where we take time to connect, reflect, and celebrate our collective success.

We’re thrilled to share the finished photos of Foundation Armor’s new headquarters! Foundation Armor is a multi-generational, family-owned business and a leading manufacturer of industrial-grade concrete sealers and coatings. Their brand-new 25,000 SF headquarters in Amherst, NH was designed and built by the PROCON team. This project was especially unique as owners Tanya and Eric played a hands-on role in shaping the interior design and creating the welcoming feel of the new space. Congratulations, Foundation Armor, and a special thank you for allowing us to bring your vision to life!

𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗖𝗢𝗡 𝗛𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 – 𝟵𝟬 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀: In 2016, John Samenfeld stepped down as President of PROCON and assumed the role of Vice Chairman. PROCON then announced two new Co-Presidents, Jim Loft and Lance Bennett.

We recently partnered with Granite River Studios to create a series of videos to enhance our onboarding process. This particular video highlights our Core Values and will be shared with every new team member who joins PROCON. It’s always a pleasure collaborating with the Granite River team, and we’re excited to roll out these new videos as part of our updated onboarding experience.

On Friday, PROCON hosted a subcontractor appreciation lunch for our field team at the Dartmouth Russo Hall jobsite in Hanover. With a targeted completion of mid-summer 2026, our field team has been working diligently, through all weather, 7 days a week, to keep the project on track. By this time next year, the 5-story Russo Hall will be home to 285 Dartmouth students. We are truly grateful to our dedicated subcontractors and suppliers, whose diligence and craftsmanship make it possible for us to deliver with excellence. Thank you for all that you do!

When our employees are asked what they love most about PROCON, the answer is always the same: “It’s the people.” At PROCON, we take pride in creating opportunities outside of work to bring coworkers together to celebrate shared hobbies and enjoy a day of fun. One of our more exciting traditions we'd introduced over the past few years is the PROCON Golf Classic, held in the early fall for staff and their families. This year’s event took place at The Oaks in Somersworth, where the day could not have been more perfect. Clear skies, warm sunshine, and ideal course conditions set the stage for a spirited and competitive round of golf. Once the final hole was played, everyone came together for a casual lunch to connect and unwind and celebrate this year's tournament winners.

𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗖𝗢𝗡 𝗛𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 – 𝟵𝟬 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀: In 2017, PROCON produced its iconic “Happy” music video to celebrate the year’s theme, “Attitude of Gratitude.” Today, the video remains an important part of our onboarding process, welcoming and inspiring new hires. This morning in Concord, we proudly celebrated the ribbon-cutting ceremony for Arts Alley Concord NH, along with the grand opening of The Friendly Toast. PROCON was honored to serve as both the design team and construction manager on this exciting project, a long-envisioned dream of Steve Duprey and Duprey Hospitality. Arts Alley features The Friendly Toast on the ground level, a vibrant event space on the second floor, and Rooftop Social, a stunning bar with sweeping views of downtown Concord’s skyline. Behind the main building is The Courtyard hangout and the future home of Duke's bar. Congratulations to The Friendly Toast, Arts Alley, and Steve Duprey on bringing this beautiful new space to life. 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗖𝗢𝗡 𝗛𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 – 𝟵𝟬 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀: In 2018, Mark Stebbins visits Gossler Park Elementary School in Manchester, NH during the "Leader in Me" program introduction. During a tour of the school, he noticed that his grandfather, Blanchard Stebbins, was the original contractor of the building back in 1956!

Mid-September means it’s time for our annual Corporate Meeting & Employee Appreciation Day! Last Friday, the PROCON team gathered at Camp Foster in Bedford for a team lunch followed by our annual meeting led by John Stebbins. We honored new hires, celebrated milestone anniversaries, introduced refreshed Core Values and new EOS, and highlighted the successes of the past year. After the meeting, the afternoon was all about fun! Everyone enjoyed the great weather and our annual softball game, cornhole tournament as well as a new addition this year: axe throwing! With so many of our team members working on job sites, this day is always special and a chance for the whole PROCON team to come together, connect, and celebrate.

We are proud to announce the official opening of the Easterseals NH Military & Veterans Campus! 🎉 Last week, nearly 1,100 community members came together to celebrate the launch of this first-of-its-kind campus. PROCON is honored to have supported Easterseals NH for more than 60 years—both philanthropically and now as the designer and construction partner for this historic project. Congratulations to Easterseals New Hampshire on this incredible milestone!

𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗖𝗢𝗡 𝗛𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 – 𝟵𝟬 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀: Over the last 90 years, PROCON has undergone several logo changes. Do you recognize them all?

We are excited to share that both Cindy Hickey and Lorna Lavelle have joined the National Association of Women in Construction. As members of NAWIC Granite State, Cindy and Lorna will meet with the association team each month and help provide opportunities for expanding knowledge, building networks, volunteering in the community, mentoring New Hampshire’s youth, and attending local seminars. The Granite State Chapter brings together women from many areas of the construction industry who are dedicated to education, community involvement, and the advocacy of women in the field.
