Matt has been an integral part of PROCON since 1998, playing a key role in shaping numerous project designs across the Northeast, including the award-winning Rand-Whitney manufacturing and warehouse facility in Boylston, MA. From the initial client introduction through design concept, schematic design, and development, he collaborates closely with the design team to bring each project to life. Matt also oversees architectural design, construction documents, specifications, and construction administration, ensuring seamless execution from start to finish.

Beyond the office, Matt has dedicated over 40 years to the Coast Guard Auxiliary, actively supporting and promoting safe boating initiatives. He has also been deeply involved in Scouting America BSA for more than 20 years and currently serves as the Chair of the Historic District Eagle Board, helping guide the next generation of leaders.

What gets you out of bed in the morning?

“Being able to go to work with a great bunch of people and creating buildings that meet our client’s needs.”

What do you enjoy most about what you do?

“I have always enjoyed designing and building things.  It is interesting to visit various manufacturing facilities to see how products are made.”

What do you enjoy doing for fun?

“Golf, boating, sailing, kayaking, biking rail Trails around New England. I also enjoy model railroading and traveling to new places around the World.”

Tell us about your family:

“Michelle and I are celebrating 30 years of marriage this year.  She is an education professional, serving young scholars as a principal, a music educator, and a professional musician.  We have two boys in their mid-20s, one apprenticing as a locksmith and the other currently doing a hitch with the Peace Corp in Senegal (west coast of Africa).”
