Redevelopment of a campus of historic buildings into a state-of-the-art community for veterans on 15 acres.
The Easterseals NH Military & Veterans Campus transformed a long-vacant, 15-acre historic property in Franklin, New Hampshire, into the state's first campus dedicated to supporting veterans, service members, first responders, and their families through affordable housing, integrated services, and community. Through the adaptive reuse of eight historic buildings dating to 1873, the project preserved significant embodied carbon while creating 29 ADA-compliant affordable apartments, a centralized Hub of Services, retreat accommodations, offices, meeting spaces, and community gathering areas.
