2017 ABC NH/VT Excellence in Construction Awards

Bedford, NH – On the evening of October 26, 2017, PROCON of Manchester, NH took home two Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC NH/VT) Excellence in Construction awards for its projects. A/E/C industry professionals from throughout the region gathered at the Manchester Country Club in Bedford for the celebration. This event is the construction industry’s premier annual awards program that recognizes the most challenging and safest construction projects in the region. PROCON was recognized for Brightview Senior Living Community in Canton, MA and the Residence Inn by Marriott in Watertown, MA.

PROCON Challenges NH Business to Get On the Bus

Manchester, NH – On October 1 2017, twenty-five Granite United Way business supporters and their guests boarded a bus to Gillette Stadium for a New England Patriots game. It was a fun and eventful conclusion to the 2016/2017 “Get on the Bus” Stebbins Family Challenge Match that raised over $100,000 for non-profits that support the community.

Merrimack College Opens First New Academic Building in 30 Years

North Andover, MA – On September 14, 2017, Merrimack College celebrated the opening of Crowe Hall — its first academic building in nearly 30 years — with “An Evening of Gratitude.” College President Christopher E. Hopey, Ph.D., was joined by Board of Trustees Members, faculty, students and colleagues to celebrate the building’s inauguration. It was a milestone occasion for the college whose last new academic building opened in 1989.

Pro Star Aviation Raises the Truss On New Hangar Facility

Londonderry, NH – September 2017 began on a momentous note for Pro Star Aviation with a truss-raising for their 45,000 SF hangar and shop currently underway in Londonderry, NH. The new hangar and office facility will be located at 8 Kelly Avenue, east of the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport and adjacent to its machining entity, Pro Star Precision Machining. PROCON of Manchester, NH is the designer and construction manager for the project.

Rand-Whitney Container Expands Big at its Pawtucket RI Location

Pawtucket, RI – 455 Narragansett Park in Pawtucket was buzzing with activity on July 27 as Rand-Whitney Container cut the ribbon on its newly expanded facility. Company officials were joined by Governor Gina Raimondo, state and local representatives and business partners. Rand-Whitney owner, Robert Kraft and Jonathan Kraft of The Kraft Group attended the momentous event and enjoyed catching up with their team.
